This model of Fast-Aid Center is used to
provide eight selections for over-the-counter medications via
the pillow pack or extended vending options via the pillow pack
and the puck. The pillow pack functions the same as the sleeve used in the
Series I-6 but is closed on both ends.
It will hold and dispense single doses of name brand and
generic over-the-counter medications and similar size items.
The puck is a round, clear plastic food grade container
that measures 2 ½” x ¾” and is fitted with a lid.
Pucks are easy to fill and will hold and dispense
numerous items including single to multiple doses of
over-the-counter medications, cough drops, cough drops in
combination with medications, earplugs, hairnets, first-aid
supplies, latex gloves, OB tampons, or anything else that fits.
Both the pillow pack and puck have a
corresponding dispensing channel and these may be mixed or
matched at no extra charge when the Series II-8 is ordered.
The ability to dispense different size items is helpful
in many settings. For
instance, a corporate nurse used her machine to dispense single
dose medications via pillow packs and cough drops and sore
throat lozenges via pucks while a college used all pucks to
dispense condoms, OB tampons, mini pads and first-aid kits.
